  • Epilepsy Symposium 2022. September 17, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A panel of experts from Seattle Children’s Neurology, Epileptology, Genetics and Neurosurgery Programs will be discussing best practices and novel approaches to managing and treating epilepsy to improve outcomes.   • Patient Assessment and Parent/Guardian Consent for Starting Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy in Youth Under 18. Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m. This virtual outreach event from the Gender Clinic is designed for community providers who are already familiar with prescribing gender-affirming hormone therapy. Presenters will address common concerns and questions about assessments prior to starting hormone therapy and parent/guardian consent for hormone therapy. This event is offered to boost providers’ skills, competency, and comfort in providing gender-affirming medications to youth under age 18. RSVP to [email protected]. Project ECHO

  • Caring for Gender Diverse Youth, Series II – A Project Echo. Monthly virtual sessions from September 2022 through February 2023 will focus on medical topics including puberty blockers, masculinizing treatments, and feminizing treatments. Category I CME credits and Quality Improvement MOC (Part 4) credits are available. Participation in Series II is not contingent on participation in Series I. Registration is free.
