In pursuit of becoming an anti-racist organization, Seattle Children’s released its fifth Action Plan progress update on the Health Equity and Anti-Racism Action Plan in late May.
The update is available in a new, visual format on seattlechildrens.org and in PDF format. It includes a link to the full Covington & Burling review, which assessed Seattle Children’s progress on the HEAR Action Plan Phase 1 commitments.
Phase 1 of the HEAR Action Plan is now complete, and phase 2 is underway.
We welcome you to learn more about the progress and challenges Seattle Children’s experienced during phase 1 and the work ahead of us in phase 2, including stories highlighting the new Adaptive Social Response system (which replaced Code Purple), anti-racism training and Latinx workforce opportunities and obstacles.
